Tom Hiddleston and Maisie Williams respond to weird trivia about themselves

Do you even know what selachophobia is? Because Tom Hiddleston has it.

BBC Radio 1 scoured IMDB for trivia about actors Tom Hiddleston and Maisie Williams and asked them to confirm or deny the fun facts.

It turns out that while Williams owns many tortoises, John Tucker Must Die is not in fact her “favourite guilty pleasure movie.” Apparently Hiddleston’s eyes do water involuntarily when he is “spooked”, though. Read more…

Tom Hanks is adorably impressed with Maisie Williams’ ‘Game of Thrones’ stamp

If ever there’s a wedding happening in Central Park, an event that needs some added martinis or just generally something that requires somebody to be adorable, you can pretty much count on Tom Hanks to deliver.

Game of Thrones stamps are no exception.

On Friday, Hanks appeared alongside Maisie Williams and Anthony Joshua on The Graham Norton Show — and as soon as Norton brought out the new Arya Stark stamp, Hanks enthusiastically donned his glasses to take a look.

Maisie Williams confirms Arya Stark has 3 new names on her kill list

Arya Stark’s list is a nightmare: no matter how many people she kills, the damn list just keeps getting longer.

SEE ALSO: Maisie Williams’ Instagram post about not going to the Golden Globes is epic

Appearing on The Graham Norton Show on Friday, Maisie Williams described an unusual request she often gets from Game of Thrones fans.

“They want me to recite the names, but then add their name,” explains Williams in the clip.

Before long some ominous music is playing, Williams is staring dead into the camera, and Graham Norton — along with fellow guests Anthony Joshua and Tom Hanks — have all been added. Read more…

Maisie Williams Adds Tom Hanks To Arya Stark’s Kill List On ‘The Graham Norton Show’

Tom Hanks had better watch his back, as he has been added to Arya Stark’s Kill List.

While the Oscar-winning actor may not be in ‘Game Of Thrones’, he became a surprise addition to the fatal list after appearing on ‘The Graham Norton Show’ alongside ‘GOT’ star Maisie Williams.

During the interview, Graham revealed that Maisie often gets requests from fans of the fantasy series for her to recite the list with their names added to the end – something which she then did for Tom, and indeed Graham and fellow guest Anthony Joshua.

Hopefully though, the trio will not meet the same fate as Walder Frey and Meryn Trant did.

Watch the video above to see how it played out…

While on the show, Maisie also dropped some hints about the final series of ‘Game Of Thrones’, which will not air until 2019.

“We’re still making it,” she said. “It is so much fun now there is only a small group of us left and it’s exciting to know everything that is going on.”

‘The Graham Norton Show’ airs Fridays at 10.35pm on BBC One.

Maisie Williams’ response to Sophie Turner’s engagement is exactly what you’d expect it to be

Game of Thrones has given us all more than enough to talk about over the years, and one of the surprising best parts about the series is the relationship between Maisie Williams and Sophie Turner that’s developed on set. It’s a friendship so deep that even an engagement with Joe Jonas can’t break it up.

With a cute Instagram post, Williams left a sweet message for Turner congratulating her best friend on the event.

‘X-Men’ goes YA in the first trailer for ‘New Mutants’

After the bittersweet, blood-soaked elegy that was Logan, it kinda feels like X-Men universe could use some fresh blood.

Luckily, New Mutants is just around the corner.

SEE ALSO: ‘Logan’ is the most important X-Men movie since ‘X-Men’

The new X-Men spinoff puts a much more youthful spin on that familiar franchise, focusing on a small group of superpowered teenagers played by Maisie Williams (Game of Thrones), Anya Taylor-Joy (Split), Charlie Heaton (Stranger Things), Henry Zaga (13 Reasons Why), and Blu Hunt (The Originals).

Director Josh Boone (The Fault in Our Stars) describes it as, essentially, “Stephen King meets John Hughes.” Which is a really promising description, if you ask us! It’s just too bad we’ll have to wait ’til April 13, 2018 to see New Mutants in theaters. Read more…

Please enjoy Arya and Brienne training for their ‘Game of Thrones’ fight like badasses

It was one of the highlights of an uneven season 7: Arya Stark (Maisie Williams) returning to Winterfell and showcasing her mad sword skills by sparring with Brienne of Tarth (Gwendoline Christie).

But it didn’t go down the way you think. For one thing, that wasn’t Maisie doing an incredible acrobatic leap from her back, even though CGI fooled you into thinking it was.

SEE ALSO: ‘Game of Thrones’ fans have a huge theory about Arya’s endgame

Now that HBO’s behind-the-scenes video series The Game Revealed has reached Season 7 episode 4, we have this breakdown of the Brienne-Arya choreography — which is well worth a watch.    Read more…

‘Game of Thrones’ stars Maisie Williams and Sophie Turner celebrated their friendship’s 8th anniversary

Aug. 7, 2009 to you might be just a normal, forgettable day to you, but to Sophie Turner and Maisie Williams, it’s the beginning of a beautiful friendship.

That date commemorates the day the two were officially added to the cast of Game of Thrones and when they met each other they instantly bonded.

The two BFFs (or Mophie, as they call themselves) even got a tattoo last year to celebrate the day and their friendship.

This year, on the eighth anniversary of that day, they blessed us with some adorable Instagram photos of serious friend goals.

Ed Sheeran’s ‘Game of Thrones’ cameo made me extremely angry

Spoilers for Game of Thrones Season 7, episode one follow. So, ya know, don’t read if you haven’t watched.

I was there. I rode with Ayra Stark, fresh from poisoning a whole room of terrible men, on her horse through the Westerosi woods. And then she heard someone singing.

If you caught the season premiere of Game of Thrones Sunday night then you know that it was Ed Sheeran singing that song, sitting on a log, dressed in some Seven Kingdoms armor, like he totally belonged in this weird world of ice zombies, dragons, and wildfire. Except, he completely, 100 percent didn’t.

Ed Sheeran’s rando cameo last night was the worst thing that the show has ever done, pop culturally speaking. Read more…

Ed Sheeran’s ‘Game of Thrones’ cameo was anticlimactic, yet perfect

Spoiler warning: This post contains plot details for the Game of Thrones Season 7 premiere, titled “Dragonstone.”

Turns out that Ed Sheeran was telling the truth about his Game of Thrones cameo, in which he appeared alongside Maisie Williams’ Arya Stark, because even Game of Thrones stars are fans of stuff.

“I feel like my cameo’s been built up too much though, people will just be like ‘Oh. Oh, alright,'” he told ET last month. “It’s not an integral part of it at all, I’m just, like… in it.”

We all thought he was kidding when he revealed what he’d be doing during the scene in a radio interview: “I sing a song and then [Arya] goes, ‘Oh, that’s a nice song,’ and I go, ‘It’s a new one,’ and then there’s other lines.”  Read more…
